Many of us can go through life very stressed, overwhelmed with the challenges that get thrown at us and the obstacles we must overcome to achieve true happiness.
With out emotions in the way, events in life can continue to affect us throughout our lives, even after years have passed. Many of us are filled with worry at the thought of anything negative happening again, which can actually turn us into very negative people.

Mahayana Buddhists believe in karma and that however we act in our lives, will return to us, urging people to be more caring and peaceful, instead of filling their lives with negative feelings and actions. They also believe that people must try and change themselves for the better, banishing any of these feelings that we have that could stop us from living a happy life.
