Creating a ‘feel good’ playlist is an excellent idea! Music has the power to change our mood drastically, so put on your favourite songs and enjoy! You might be surprised how good it makes you feel.
Donate just a few hours of your time to volunteer! Help out at a shelter, join a school committee, spend some time helping out at a library class, there are millions of ways you can help others. Not only will you be doing something good for others, but you’ll feel great about yourself, too.
Be kind to yourself
Watch your words when you talk to yourself! Are you guilty of repeating discouraging words to yourself? “I’m so stupid”, “I look horrible” sound familiar? Stop being so critical of yourself and start being kind to yourself, you wouldn’t say those hurtful words to someone you cared about, would you?
Watch out for negative thoughts
Sometimes we can get into a rut of thinking too negatively too often. Try and actively look for the positives in situations and stop seeing everything in a negative light.
