The end of a relationship can be an incredibly difficult time. If you’re struggling to move on from your ex then perhaps you need closure. Everybody is different, but closure can help with the healing process, and if you don’t get closure you may find your mind is filled with ‘what ifs?’
Step one – Write a letter, but don’t send it. Be honest, pour your heart out and release any anger and sadness in your letter.
Step two – accept. Learn to accept that the relationship didn’t work, and you will be okay!
Step three – reach out. If it helps, say what you have to say to your ex. be prepared that they may not want to hear it, and they may not respond. The key to this step is knowing you were brave enough to say what you wanted to say.
