Some people believe in reincarnation, that we are not here to live just once. As we reincarnate from lifetime to lifetime, our soul lives on, gaining experience, progressing and learning. All of the lessons and wisdom we gain in our life is passed on through our soul as we reincarnate to our next life. If you’re a believer, this could explain why some people are wise beyond their years, and others are immature and childlike, even in their adult years.
Our soul age refers to how experienced our soul is, and as the soul evolves and gains experience, it progresses through the five stages of soul age. The five stages are infant souls, baby souls, young souls, mature souls, and old souls.
Regardless of whether or not you’re a believer, you might find it interesting to learn what soul age you are. Your soul age can really help you to understand why you are the way you are!
Infant souls are the youngest of souls. They are often quite childlike, playful, and excitable. Infant souls are very innocent and can appear to be ignorant or unaware of some of the difficulties and complexities of life. They are lovers of life, wild, earthy and untamed, but have some life skills still to learn. Infant souls also prefer to interact with groups they are familiar with, and feel most comfortable around the love and guidance of older souls.
Baby souls are the equivalent of a 4 – 13 year old. They have a strong need for order and stability, and tend to live a structured life based around rules and values. Baby souls are extremely loyal and dutiful, they are disciplined and traditional. A baby soul is conscientious and will always want to do their best. They tend to see others as just like themselves, and can become confused when people behave differently to what they know.
Young souls are also known as teenage souls, they love their independence and have plenty of ambition. Very similar to an adolescent, the age comparison of a young soul is that of a 13 to 29 year old. Young souls are extremely focused, success orientated and tend to be workaholics, meaning they can often be known for their hard work and great achievements. This soul age can sometimes become a little too focused on social status or material gain.
The equivalent of a 29 to 55 year old, mature, or adult souls, are caring, sensitive individuals. They no longer have a focus on material gains, life is more about showing empathy and nurturing their relationships. Mature souls can sometimes get a little too involved in emotional drama meaning their life can be dramatic.
Old souls are well rounded, knowledgeable individuals. At an age of 56+, they are spiritual fulfilled, wise. They have plenty of experience and knowledge of life, including relationships and society. Old souls can prefer to spend time alone, very little surprises them and they can find life a little uninteresting at times. They are often tired and can sometimes lack motivation, however their wisdom radiates from them.
