Monthly Tarotscopes: July

To mark the start of July, one of our psychics has chosen a different tarot card for each star sign to represent how the month could unfold. We believe Tarotscopes are a simple way to create a life of peace, meaning and prosperity, plus it’s an opportunity for people to learn more about the definitions of tarot decks. Below are all of the cards that are chosen for the month of July 2016.

*All cards pictured in this blog post are from the famous Rider-Waite Tarot Card deck.*

Ace of Swords (upright)
ace swords uprightKeywords: Raw power, clarity, success

If you’ve been putting a big project on the back burner due to fear or uncertainty, now could be the time to set the wheels in motion. The Ace of Swords represents a period of time where success and mental clarity are more achievable than ever before. You may benefit from a ‘Eureka’ moment where everything just falls into place and the path ahead feels profoundly straightforward.

Are you on the pursuit of justice, Aries? If so, this month you may achieve exactly what you set out to do. Whether you’ve been treated badly by a colleague, a friend is having problems with their partner, or you’re trying to raise awareness of a worthy cause, in the coming weeks, justice could be served.

Ten of Wands (upright)ten wands

Keywords: burden, responsibility, hard work

Is something weighing heavy on your shoulders, Taurus?  The Ten of Wands Tarot suggests you may find yourself struggling under a heavy workload or trying to keep up with your responsibilities.  Some of these responsibilities and expectations may be somewhat out of your hands but others may have been implemented by yourself! How high are you setting the bar? Have you bitten off more than you can chew? Being ambitious is good but not if it sees you driven into the depths of despair.

This card could signify that it’s time to free your life from unnecessary stresses and strains. If you’ve been invited to parties you’d rather not attend, say ‘no’. If colleagues are giving you more work than you can handle, be honest about your struggles. And, most importantly, take time out for rest and relaxation.

Temperance (upright) temperance

Keywords: Balance, moderation, wisdom

This month you may achieve a new found sense of balance and control. You’re waving goodbye to unnecessary worries and embracing peace and tranquillity with open arms.

You may find yourself saying ‘no’ to things you’d usually do at the drop of a hat. This could be a good thing and may lead you on a path of wisdom and reflection. You’re turning your back on bad influences and focussing on yourself and your own spirituality.

This month could see you acting out of character and, although your friends may seem suspicious of the ‘new you’ at first, they’ll soon warm to this more mature, knowledgeable and informed version of yourself.

nine swordsNine of Swords (upright)

Keywords: Unhappiness, despair, anxiety, nightmares

Seek help, Cancer, fast! If the coming days bring unhappiness or worry, don’t fight it alone. The Nine of Swords is widely considered to be a negative card that implies despair, fear and nightmares. However, don’t let the card itself evoke troublesome emotions; you’re a tough cookie with an ability to overcome challenges.

Don’t let this Tarot trick you into fearing death and destruction. This card is far more representative of your emotions rather than physical and ‘real’ occurrences. Your life itself may change very little in the coming weeks and yet you may find yourself worrying more so than usual. Fear is a natural human emotion but if you feel like it’s taking over your life, it’s time to turn to your friends for support and understanding. This month, your friends and relatives will bring joy to your life more so than ever before.

page cups uprightPage of Cups (upright)

Keywords: synchronisation, creativity, messenger

An exciting, creative, and fulfilling journey may lie ahead, Leo. Creativity is flowing through your veins and you may become overwhelmed with an urge to express yourself. If you’ve been thinking of taking up a new hobby, now’s the time to embark on such an adventure. You may learn far more about yourself than you had ever imagined.

Pay attention to your dreams in the coming weeks. Although some may appear to make no sense, they could hold significant meaning for you. Look out for symbolic messages from your unconscious self. These dreams may even inspire your creative endeavours when you’re awake.

Knight of Cups (upright)

knight cupsKeywords: romance, charm, imagination

Of all the knights in the Arcana deck, the Knight of Cups is perhaps the softest and most romantic. This certainly doesn’t make him any less of a knight and he can represent heroism just as much as he represents romance, charm and poetry. The appearance of this card may indicate that a person with similar traits to the Knight of Cups could enter your life but it could also suggest you have some of these qualities yourself.

If you’re single, don’t get too caught up in the idea of romance. Even if romance does materialise, it’s important to keep your feet firmly on the ground and stay as level headed as possible. It could be love, but it could equally be lust. Only time will tell.

The Star (reversed)

the star reversedKeywords: loss of faith, worry, lack of enthusiasm

An upright Star Tarot can signify renewed faith and optimism. It suggests the Universe is on your side and angels are ready to support you in times of need. However, when the Star Tarot is reversed, your spiritual mission is not as promising as it could be. Rather than focusing on the positives in life, you may find yourself consumed in negativity and self doubt. Don’t let this attitude prevent you from achieving your full potential and try to move past your issues.

Once you overcome the negativity, you may feel somewhat apathetic towards issues that once made you extremely passionate. You’re unenthusiastic and unwilling to implement important changes in your life. Be careful. Your disengagement could affect others who rely on you to help them overcome their own obstacles. This month, do everything in your power to care for your mind and body. Meditate, rest, exercise and eat well. Self care can help you return to your usual self.

king wandsKing of Wands (upright)

Keywords: Leadership, vision, honour

The King of Wands is representative of fire and energy. The King is a natural born leader and is able to influence and control people from all backgrounds. He’s a driven man who’s unlikely to stray from his initial plan and goals. He’ll encourage those around him to follow suit and help him on whatever mission he’s set his mind to. Although he may sound controlling and dominating, people are naturally drawn to him as they admire his dedication and ambition – even though he’s often guilty of letting others do the work for him.

The appearance of this card suggests you are someone who inhabits the above traits, even if it doesn’t seem like it yet. You have the potential to achieve great things in your life and are likely to thrive in a leadership role. You’re unwilling to waste time worrying about insignificant matters and would rather focus on the big picture.

Chariot (upright)

the chariotKeywords: Control, drive, victory

The Chariot represents triumph, success and overcoming competition. This month, hold your head up high and tackle obstacles with determination and courage. By using your willpower, strength and bravery, you can succeed against the odds and gain a new found sense of satisfaction and pride.

Avoid distractions this month, Sagittarius. They only serve to divert you away from your one true goal. By giving into temptation and opting for short term wins rather than long term plans, your future self is likely to be filled with resentment and regret.

The World (upright)

the worldKeywords: Completion, accomplishment, discovery, adventure

You’re a hard worker, Capricorn, and you may be feeling exhausted after a long journey. This journey might not necessarily be travel related – it could equally be a romantic, professional, spiritual or moral journey. The World Tarot suggests your efforts are about to pay off and the challenges and struggles you endured are going to mean something greater than you could ever imagine.

If you’ve been struggling to come to terms with a big life change, you may achieve a sense of closure this month. Now is the time to move on and celebrate all you have achieved in the past and the vast potential that lies ahead.

Five of Pentacles (reversed)

five of pentacles cardKeywords: Recovery, a lack of spirituality

Have you been struggling recently, Aquarius? Five of Pentacles indicates that the end is near and prosperity could lie ahead. You may benefit from a wave of hope and self-confidence.

If you’ve been consumed by financial worries, these concerns may start to dissipate. Perhaps a new job or unforeseen income is on the horizon. Breathe a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that wealth could lie ahead. However, avoid splurging on luxury purchases or non-essentials. You haven’t won the lottery! In order to build a strong financial future, you need to put the work in and set the wheels in motion. No one else will do it for you.

Six of Cups (upright)

six cupsKeywords: Good karma, wisdom, skill

Think back to a time in your life when you felt blessed with wisdom and knowledge. Perhaps you did well in school, you achieved something you put your mind to, or your intuition led you down the perfect path. The Six of Cups suggests this very knowledge and expertise could come in useful this month.

Someone from your past may make an unexpected reappearance. While this could evoke painful memories, use this as a reminder of how far you’ve come over the years. This is a time to acknowledge your own personal growth and embrace the sense of pride that can come with it.
