Has the Mercury Retrograde been causing havoc on your relationships, career, social life and overall wellbeing? You’ll be glad to know that it’s finally over – so you can stop blaming it for all your problems now. 😉
Frustratingly, for the two weeks that follow the end of the Mercury Retrograde, we experience what’s known as a ‘shadow period’ or ‘retroshade’, a transitional phase which prevents everything snapping back to normal.
So how can you make use of this transitional period? We think the best thing you can do is use it as a time to reflect, assess and plan ahead.
Here are five questions to ask to get you started:
How did the Mercury Retrograde treat me?
What went wrong during the Retrograde?
How did I respond to these problems?
Did I manage to turn any bad situations into positives?
What can I learn from this experience?
Although the Mercury Retrograde is almost certainly responsible for much of the turbulence from the last few weeks, it’s wise to look at how your own behaviour may have affected the situation.
Have you responded to obstacles in a productive, mature and positive way? Or perhaps the slightest hurdle sent you into a blind panic and forced you to hide away? Don’t beat yourself up if you found yourself in a frenzy – it’s a perfectly human response to the Retrograde. The important thing is that you reflect on your strengths and weaknesses and use this knowledge to move forward.
Its your final chance to blame it on the #retrograde. Tomorrow brings everything back into alignment again and we can’t wait! #mercury pic.twitter.com/cptjpXiuIz
